A Hunting We Will Go
Here are some pictures taken of a recent hunting trip into Virginia
A recent hunting trip in Virginia with Jan Bell, Jim and Kris Tracy, and my husband resulted in successfully ridding a farmers field of a groundhog his hole which was a definite hazard to the farmer's equipment.
The day also resulted in a wonderful day in the field with some great companions as well as an unforgetable experience with the dogs.
Hunting Judge Jan Bell
Jan Bell takes great pride a young bitch Rave.
Rave is enthusiastically taking joy in her training while being introduced to a dig with a Groundhog in residence.
Jan Bell & Rave
Now it is Rave's turn to watch Jan do the digging as she "gets down" and widens the hole.
A Little Help From Above
Jan Bell gets some help from Jim Tracy while Kris Tracy looks on. Go Jan!
Hayden's Ready!
Jim Tracy holds his dog Hayden who will enter the tunnel in an effort to "draw out" the groundhog.
Dogwood Glen Sweetie Pie
Sorry I didn't get the lighting right or you would be able to see the groundhog there. Sweetie Pie definitely can see it!
Two Heads Might Be Better Than One
Its nice to know your dog can hunt well with another. Rave and Dogwood Glen Sweetie Pie put their heads together to face down that varmint.
